Report Internet Fraud

Claims and complaints against providers of tourist services that offer their activities through an internet portal that could not be located at its commercial address or be contacted through any telephone number.
When a supplier or provider offers you a service through electronic means and do not comply with the price, services, features, terms, contracts, warranties, terms, etc. You must submit your complaint formally to the Public Prosecutor's Office nearest to your address, against the person or persons responsible; at the same time, we suggest you to take the following documentation:

REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESENTING YOUR CLAIM OR COMPLAINT TO THE PUBLIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE:

  •   Official Identification (INE or passport).
  •   Printed e-mails with their corresponding headers, copies or print-screens of WhatsApp or Facebook conversations and/or announcements.
  •   Copies of the form of payment
  •   Any document which contents expose some fact related to your complaint.
  •   Take with you a written report of the facts with the maximum detail of names, dates, and times.

In addition, the Policia Federal (Federal Police) and the Oficina del Comisionado Nacional de Seguridad (Office of the National Commissioner of Security) exhorts to users to report any suspicion of fraud to the telephone number 088, which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; as well as making complaints through the email ceac@cns.gob.mx and into the app PF Movil, available for all cell-telephony platforms.
